I’m Rinkan Gupta — a Toronto-based Senior Video Editor, Videographer, Photographer, and Gen AI Artist with more than two decades of international experience in visual storytelling, post-production, filmmaking, and creative content production.
Throughout my career, I have worked across India, the United Kingdom, the UAE, and Canada, building a diverse body of work that spans government communications, corporate films, documentaries, branded content, social media campaigns, promotional films, digital media, photography, motion graphics, and large-scale visual productions.
My experience includes contributing to projects for some of the most respected organizations and institutions in their sectors, including the President of India, Reserve Bank of India, Indian Railways, LIC India, UNICEF, HCL Technologies, Serco Group, American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, Cozmo Travel UAE, HomeLife Realty Toronto, FEGS Family, and a wide range of clients across Canada and international markets.
Over the years, I have developed a reputation for combining creative vision with technical precision, dependable execution, and a strong understanding of audience engagement. Whether working on a high-profile institutional film, a fast-paced digital campaign, a cinematic trailer, or a visually driven brand story, I approach every project with the same commitment to quality, clarity, and impact.
My core expertise includes advanced video editing, post-production, colour grading, motion graphics, visual effects, sound design, photography, creative direction, and end-to-end content development. I am a Blackmagic Design Certified DaVinci Resolve Editor and Colorist, with extensive experience across industry-leading platforms including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and the wider Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem.
Today, a major part of my creative practice is focused on generative artificial intelligence.
As a Gen AI Artist, I integrate tools such as Google Veo, Runway, Midjourney, Pika, ChatGPT, and ElevenLabs into professional production workflows to develop cinematic concepts, create original visual environments, improve production efficiency, maintain character and scene consistency, enhance visual effects, and explore new possibilities in digital storytelling.
My approach to AI is grounded in creative direction and real production experience. I see artificial intelligence not as a replacement for human creativity, but as an advanced creative tool that expands what can be imagined, designed, and delivered.
I also hold Google AI Essentials and Google Prompting Essentials certifications, strengthening my ability to apply generative AI thoughtfully, responsibly, and effectively within modern creative workflows.
What sets me apart is the ability to combine deep traditional production experience with emerging technology. I understand the full creative process — from interpreting an initial brief and shaping the visual direction to managing complex post-production and delivering polished content across multiple platforms and formats.
I am equally comfortable working independently, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, leading post-production, or managing a project from concept through final delivery. Years of experience in demanding production environments have taught me how to remain adaptable, focused, and solution-oriented while consistently meeting creative and technical expectations.
Now based in Toronto, I work with Canadian and international clients, bringing together global perspective, strong storytelling instincts, technical expertise, and a forward-looking approach to visual production.
Beyond my professional work, I continue to explore photography, emerging creative technologies, and new forms of visual expression. I also enjoy discovering Toronto, spending time outdoors, and finding exceptional sushi.
For me, every project begins with an idea — and the opportunity to transform that idea into something meaningful, memorable, and visually powerful.
Let’s create something remarkable.
